On October 26, 2023, in Yaremche, the Chairman of the Board of the World Union of Doctors and the Association of Doctors of the Carpathian Region Oleksandr Vasyliovych Marusyn was awarded the highest award of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences - the Plato Silver Medal for outstanding achievements in the progress of society.
It was a pleasant surprise that this award was personally presented by Academician, President of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences - Oleksiy Fedorovych Onipko.
