Health, social sectors NGO’s (non govermental organisation's) and public authorities co-operation committee

The Ukrainian Medical and Social Sector is facing a fundamental process of change in the coming years. The need for change is associated not only with changes in the financing of both systems (with the introduction of health insurance), but also with the need to adapt the infrastructure that is used to provide medical and social services (and which often does not correspond to demographic, social and economic changes in the territories where it was created back in the days of the Soviet Union). "Outflow" of qualified specialists from the medical and social sectors of the country with higher salaries; Depreciation of equipment used to provide services and accelerated modernization and innovation of processes and methods that appear on foreign markets threatens Ukraine with a fall in medical social sectors. All these and a number of other problems threaten the stability of the state (citizens distrust their country because the country cannot satisfy their basic needs). The importance and complexity of these challenges requires the ability of the whole society to solve them, and not just government structures.

The Committee considers its task to establish cooperation between professional representatives of the medical and social sector with government agencies, patients and social services clients, scientific institutions, and parts of the enterprise in the process of identifying problems, blessed by the acts of solving them and monitoring the results.

The Committee will develop its activities with the help of:

• PR tools in national and international media channels and media platforms;
• Participation in conferences and congresses, both national and international;
• Setting up a network of relations with international organizations, non-governmental organizations, influence groups both in the country and beyond;
• Setting up a network of relations with international donor organizations;
• Organization of meetings, exchanges, internships, research projects with foreign partners;
• The inclusion of the Association in international organizations that represent the interests of the medical sector of Ukraine in international forums.
• Creation and development of an electronic library on strategies and policies for the development of the medical and social sectors in other countries.
