The Association of Doctors of the Carpathian Region, the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and the World Union of Doctors continue a successful cycle of internships for rehabilitators abroad.
The internship in one of the most famous rehabilitation clinics in the world and in Germany, in particular - Kliniken Schmieder, was very successful.
Kliniken Schmieder has a history of three generations, opened in 1950, is the largest in Germany and includes 6 clinics (Allensbach, Stuttgart, Konstanz, Gailingen, Gerlingen, Heidelberg), a research institute and a medical university. A successful combination of many years of practical experience, modern equipment and scientific developments.
The internship took place according to the program:
Welcome to Kliniken Schmieder Kliniken Schmieder – The beginnings, pioneering neurological rehabilitation and maintaining the role as leader in the field

It should be noted the great attention and interest on the part of Ukrainian rehabilitators, who also showed their high professional level.
During these days of stay in the clinic from morning to late evening, training was conducted on specialized equipment, analysis of clinical cases, modern protocols and algorithms of patient management. It should also be noted that German colleagues selflessly worked with Ukrainian rehabilitators.
According to the participants of the internship: "So much material and professional knowledge was transferred as if the internship lasted more than one month" - for this, too, special thanks to Paul Friedrich and the Kliniken Schmieder team.
In conclusion, I would like to express a general opinion that with such an attitude from Kliniken Schmieder, rehabilitation in Ukraine will undoubtedly reach world heights and will progress rapidly.
We thank our German colleagues for their honesty, decency, kindness and professionalism!
