The World Union of Doctors, the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and the Association of Doctors of the Carpathian Region are actively continuing the cycle of internships for the training of rehabilitators in Ukraine.
On July 1-2, 2023, in the German city of Stuttgart, on the basis of the largest and most modern clinic in Germany, Kliniken Schmieder, an internship of rehabilitators from Ukraine was held.
• 14,000 neurological patients annually
• Treatment of all neurological diseases at all phases of the rehabilitation process (from A to D/E)
• violation of cerebral blood circulation (strokes, cerebral hemorrhage),
• traumatic brain injury (TBI),
• damage to the spine and spinal cord,
• damage to the peripheral nervous system,
• damage to the facial nerve, parkinsonism,
• progressive muscular dystrophy,
• diseases of the autonomic nervous system,
• neurotic disorders,
• Parkinson's disease
• encephalomyelitis of any etiology
• tumor diseases of the brain
• multiple sclerosis.

I would also like to note the high human qualities of the clinic's management, in particular, at Kliniken Schmieder Stuttgart, a separate wing of the clinic has been allocated for Ukrainian families in need of help, and as of now, 300 Ukrainian families live there.
