With the assistance of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, the World Union of Doctors and the Association of Doctors of the Carpathian Region, doctors from Ukraine completed an internship in one of the leading clinics in Georgia - the Clinic of Academician Vakhtang Bochorishvili.
The multidisciplinary clinic includes 16 departments that provide assistance to the adult and children population of the country. Particularly strong points are:
- department of infectious diseases (they are the national center for the treatment of sepsis and infectious diseases)
- orthopedic clinic: a nationwide center and support clinic for the training of residents, - by the way: orthopedists from Turkey, Azerbaijan and many other countries of Europe and the world undergo training here, as the clinic conducts consultative and therapeutic work jointly with the University Clinic of Austria.
- the center of purulent surgery (own and the work and experience of German medicine - also a nationwide center)
The Medical Center has all the latest generation American and German equipment.
Ukrainian doctors completed internships and gained invaluable experience to improve the provision of medical care to patients in Ukraine.
It was agreed on further cooperation.
