Under the auspices of the World Union of Doctors, the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and the Association of Doctors of the Carpathian Region, the cycle of internships for rehabilitators of Ukraine continues.
On February 28, 2023, in the world-famous resort city of Piešťany, which has experience in treatment and rehabilitation since 1784, an internship of rehabilitators from Ukraine was held on the basis of the Hendi Centrum rehabilitation center.
Hendi Centrum is a modern rehabilitation center with accommodation, quality equipment and qualified staff. Which offers therapy for the youngest children, from adults to the elderly and a wide range of outpatient therapies. An individual approach is found for each patient, with an emphasis on his life situation and needs. Employees have excellent professional competences. Innovative procedures, high-quality equipment and trained staff are the key to achieving a better quality of life for each patient.

Hendi Centrum is a private rehabilitation center, where the age-old traditions of the past and the ultra-modern equipment of the present time are skillfully combined. More than 2.5 million euros have been invested in equipping the center.
It is worth noting the excellent work of the multidisciplinary team of rehabilitators, which should be taken as a model for use in Ukraine.
Ukrainian rehabilitators have received training in the following areas:neurorehabilitation

- rehabilitation of patients with pathology of the musculoskeletal system
- rehabilitation of patients with speech disorders (speech therapy)
- hydrotherapy.
As part of the visit, a memorandum and a cooperation agreement were signed between the Association of Doctors of the Carpathian Region and Hendi Centrum, which regulates the possibility of cooperation in terms of training rehabilitators and treating patients from Ukraine.
