The purpose of the committee is to promote partnership between state structures of Ukraine, which are responsible for the development of medical and social sectors, national universities for the training, qualification and retraining of medical and social sectors with communities of medical and social workers.
The committee will contribute to the accumulation, processing and transfer of international experience in training specialists in Ukraine. Also, this committee will facilitate the introduction and dissemination of new teaching and learning methods in a more efficient way than the three that are currently used in the country.
This committee will actively seek practical solutions and algorithms to address important issues of competitiveness and resilience of the country's medical and social sectors.
Critical topics are:
- «outflow" of skilled labor from the medical and social sectors to other countries - a shortage of specialists in the long run;
- “burnout” of representatives of this sector due to inadequate workload;
- aging specialists in the above sectors.
The Committee, through its activities, will try to attract representatives and clients of the social sector to training programs and their active participation in the processes of service provision, the prevention of critical conditions and actions in case of chronic diseases.
Through its activities, the committee will contribute to the creation of preconditions for training programs for organized groups of patients; the emergence in Ukraine of an educated, conscious consumer of medical and social services who can reasonably take part in political discussions that relate to goals, priorities and resources for the development of the medical and social sectors.
Also, the committee will promote greater recognition of the Ukrainian medical and social sector, its needs and capabilities in international medical organizations and among international sponsorship programs for the development of the medical and social sectors.
The Committee will develop its activities with the help of:
- Various articles and programs on national and international media channels and media platforms;
- Participation in conferences and congresses, both national and international;
- Setting up a network of relations with international donor organizations;
- Organization of meetings, exchanges, internships, scientific and applied projects with foreign partners;
- The inclusion of the Association in international organizations, representing the interests of the medical sector of Ukraine in international forums.
