The final annual congress of the Association of Physicians of the Carpathian Region was held in Yaremche on December 17, 2021. Delegates from 10 regions (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Rivne, Lutsk, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia) took part in the congress.

  The introductory speech at the opening of the congress was given by ALICAR international consultants: USA - Vasyl Lopukh (Director of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in America (NTSh-A), co-founder and executive director of the Center for Demographic and Socio-Economic Research of Ukrainians in the USA). ) - during his speech noted the great and significant work of the Association in the development of Ukrainian doctors and the medical industry of Ukraine; Of Lithuania - Gintaras Grahauskas (former Adviser to the Lithuanian Minister of Health on Development Strategy, Expert on Elderly and Aging Nation, Chairman of the ALICAR Committee on International Affairs) - had a welcoming speech and personally attended the congress with a report on the problems of the nation's aging and the creation of a platform for the care of the elderly.

  Large-scale 3-day trainings were conducted and information with working cases was provided to managers in the areas of the organization's work.
Discussions were held on such important topics as specialized international internships abroad, cooperation with foreign clinics in terms of internships and care for patients, the aging of the nation, insurance medicine, prevention and rehabilitation of postpartum patients.
The Chairman of the Board of ALIKAR Marusyn Oleksandr made a presentation report on the previous year of the association, thanked the members of the association for their work and outlined the main vectors and prospects for future development.
